I try not to ask too many favors in life so when I do, I have a chance of getting the help. So here goes...
Please join the sight and leave feedback on my One Day On Earth blog page. The event coordinators need to see it, so that I have a chance of having my work included in the full length documentary that is being created for this project.
Whether you do or don't, please share it with as many friends as possible in the hope of them joining and helping my…

Being a 'green revolutionist' is a handful of responsibility. As one of the catalyst of greener environment, the aim towards it may seem to be rougher than ever. Several factors such as the industrial waste problems, nature exploitation and the animal livelihood dependency are hindering the path towards the greener mother earth.

It's barely 24 hours since I imported the footage from yesterdays 10.10.10 project for One Day on Earth. The shooting was effortless, fun and incredibly inspired. Careful planning, a great crew, perfect weather, a beautiful location and very little sleep the night before all added up to the perfect conditions for an awesome shoot. Nild Sansone and Erik Harris totally understood the project and provided excellent camera work and guidance.
Woke up this morning totally fired…

For 10.10.10 my Mother, Sidney really wanted us to film at a location on the UC Berkeley campus: the foot of the Campanile bell tower. On 10.10.10 we left at 9am to walk to campus. She wanted to look at the clock and hear it chime at 10am and continue to mark time accordingly. Less than half way there we had already stopped to rest on two benches. Although disappointed acknowledging a need to make a change to our plans we were fortunate to find a garden at the core of a campus… Continue

Well I was able to take some video on 10.10.10. In Canada it was our thanksgiving and we usually get together with family and have our big turkey dinner. I was able to take 3 specific topics of video. First, I took video of my son Isaac picking out a pumpkin. It is a tradition in Canada to have a pumpkin for the month of October and then carve it into a Jack-O-Lantern for Halloween at the end of the month. Next, I took video of the preparation of our big Thanksgiving meal. And lastly, I was…

One Day on Earth provided us at the Sirua Aulo Academy to put everything we are doing here in perspective. Changing lives through education one child at a time is, I believe is one of the most rewarding jobs that can be undertaken in this world. We set off on 10-10-10 with the 2 volunteersin our program, David Karen from Switzerland and Emma Gillies from Canada to the Sirua Aulo Academy to the great…

This project was more than I had anticipated. What an opportunity to spend 24 hours with children viewing the earth through their eye's and opinion's. This was a hidden blessing.
I also included some of my children to assist me with this. The amazing "hidden" thing was watching my own children see other kids and their situations. My eldest child when leaving the final shoot in down town Seattle was crying because of the interviews with the homeless…

When I first thought of participating in this moment in time, it seemed like my comments would have to be thoughtful, very important, and timeless. As the day has passed, I have recognized the ordinariness of daily intersections. And how I respond to those incidents: what I feel, see, hear and think, and consider what the ripple effect of this interaction may be.
This morning I rose at 6:18 am. Intending for 6:00 am, but the body was slow to get feet on the floor. Did the usual…
