LIfe of the children of Surua Aulo Academy on 10-10-10 - Namunyak Maasai Welfare

Sirua Aulo Academy is located in the Transmara district of the Great Rift Valley province in Kenya.

The following documents a day in the life of the children on 10.10.10 for the onedayonearth project.

They began their day in a church service and general assembly and then went down to the river to wash themselves and their clothes. Also there was a delivery of supplies for the on-going building project which will become a new girl’s dormitory. We hope you will enjoy seeing the joy that these children create for themselves and all visitors to the school. Sirua Aulo Academy is a project of Namunyak Maasai Welfare, a partner program of Village Volunteers and their quest is to provide quality education for the Maasai people of the Transamara district. Amazing work is going on here and while I’m filing this story we had volunteers from Canada and the air here is full with limitless possibilities.
