The World's Story is Yours to Tell
I did make a hanging garden on the ugly wall I had. It is not the most beautiful one but it's pretty. Today it poured all day. I had to work under the crazy rain, I got all soaked. My friend Angela helped me with the design and the shooting of the photographs. It's been an unforgettable experience:) I am hoping to get the pics together into a video and submit it soon. Hopefully my little garden will grow into a beautiful one in the following months. Fingers crossed:)

Diffused Axonal Injury
The brain is the most delicate and if I may say so, the most beautifully intricate organ of the human body. Concussion derived from the Latin word, concuture i.e. to shake violently, is the most common type of traumatic brain injury. In this experiment, the simulation of the head subjected to impact acceleration was conducted to understand the mechanisms of diffused axonal injury. A brain injury can…

In keeping with required emphasis on Disaster Risk Reduction in general and Disaster Management in particular, the following points inferred on the basis of a Community Level Study conducted in Orissa by me, are listed below. Y'know I almost forgot about tomorrow until I checked my calendar to cross out the days until Christmas. Now I'm so delirious with excitement, I'm jumping up and down! :P
Tomorrow I'll be filming my class party. Yeheheheh, I'm happy that cameras were allowed. Such a coincidence that the party 'clashes' with tomorrow. YAYAYAYAYA SO EXCITED. lol.
Looking forward to everything! I hope my friends don't mind being filmed - my BFF is a bit sensitive.

THE WATER PIPE and Polluted Landscape
The making of a work of art related to the landscape and the existence of a water pipe, takes a lot of effort and imagination, especially when one is using non traditional concepts in which to bring out the essence and the physical qualities of the tangible scenery polluted by…

I will be building a hanging garden on the wall that my desk is facing at school. The wall is an old, grey one. I thought it would be a better look out the window if I had a couple of greenery hanging down. On Wednesday I've been to the nearest gardening center and bought a couple of flowers and greens and a lot of tulips. I will be using the old pots that I was keeping at home and will try a new potting system that I've learned from a youtube video. I will be using pet bottles (1.5l) to…

I did my ecological footprint. I consider myself to be a very conscious and ecology oriented person. I was very surprised of the result:
If everyone on the planet lived my lifestyle, we would need:
= 4.72 Earths
I believe that it is about time that each citizen on earth understands the consequences of her/his everyday act.

Preparations for the big day tomorrow are slightly stalled and not so underway. Truth be told, it feels like I'm basically about to bite alot more than I can chew. Not surprising since I planned to cover all the spheres of my life in 24 hours while running around from Gwagwalada (my school) to Abuja for the Runway Show in between suffering through stress, fear and a one hour drive back and forth.
Tomorrow will be a revealing day for me...no doubt

How far can we use our eyes to see the earth?
How often do we talk about the world we live in?
How important is the earth for the people who live on earth?
How often do we ask for forgiveness on earth?
How we care?
What about the environment around us?
Close to us? that often we forget?
Little things that do not appear on the big media?
Are we concerned?
Starting small,
the whole earth will see,
we need not to do it…

THE FAMINE in Somalia has once again focussed attention on the problems of the less developed countries. Much of the response to the crisis is a short term one in the form of food aid. However in order to understand the causes of this and other famines in Africa it is necessary to race back the roots of the problem to colonisation and imperialism. It is necessary to focus on the political economic and social policies pursued in post-colonial times which perpetuate recurring famine and…
