When I woke up this morning I did not know I would be focused on filming my son in support of Down syndrome Awareness Month and One Day on Earth. After I heard about One Day On Earth this morning, and realized there was only one other person on hear sharing their story about Down syndrome I decided to go for it.
What I did not expect was it to be so hard.
I was able to get photos of CJ my son not a problem. But taking the videos that was a…
Now on to downloading footage and getting cameras packed to return to lender. So thankful to have been able to use good equipment today. My husband and I filmed together. It was a blast and now we are excited to see if any of the footage is useful. Had a few mistakes with microphones not being turned on and lighting issues but it was worth it. Too bad it was so windy here. I hope the outdoor stuff can be used.
We'll see.

The three of us agreed to meet in the parking lot with our equipment and we took off, to film, as amateurs, what we can of our part of earth today, October 10th, 2010. As we sat in the car, we realized we did not know where to begin.
So we parked and got out and sat down and asked ourselves what we would like to know in 50 years about how we felt now. We asked ourselves - assuming one could understand what we said - what would someone from the future - from another planet -… Continue

I was just sick a couple weeks ago, and it was hell. I think there should be a limit on how many times you get sick a year. Once! It's a beautiful sunny day in Los Angeles today and I'm cooped up in my one bedroom apartment. I think I'll venture outside and see what inspires… Continue
I just signed up. It makes me wish I'd checked my e-mail sooner. I'm going to go out to the park today and film. Stephens Lake Park. Hopefully at sunset. I want the world (or whomever opens the capsule) to see what I saw. I was already so excited for this day. It just got better.
