What a great opportunity to have this year during national Down syndrome Awareness month. Utilizing this event can help us raise awareness for Down syndrome. We need society to see that they are just like you and I. They have rights. Rights to education, inclusion, employment, and independence.

When I woke up this morning I did not know I would be focused on filming my son in support of Down syndrome Awareness Month and One Day on Earth. After I heard about One Day On Earth this morning, and realized there was only one other person on hear sharing their story about Down syndrome I decided to go for it.
