i started and finished a (rhythmic/repetitive) piece for a installation for a flashmob (coming up on friday/saturday) yesterday, recording the MIDI tracks, editing and adding other sound files, all while the snow was drifting slowly out the window, adding to the trance-like effect. i called it SnowTurn
at the same time made a video of the pine tree in our backyard filling with snow.

Hi there, rather than filming music, I'm actually looking for music to edit my piece to. I am planning to shoot a "Hipstamovie", a short video clip consisting of still shot with the Hipstamatic app, documenting parts of the day on Tilos island, Greece. Since it's all going to be stills, was wondering whether any of you would let me use their track (approx. 1-2 mins length) to edit to...? Another idea I have is to record the sounds of the island and turn them into a sort of nature song. Who knows? :-)

Ahh Karen music is often best after Dark... Was hoping for a pixar Behind the Scenes. I pitched it to them but I think they thought we were kidding. Lucasfilm is actually doing a bunch of stuff across the company. Still a little flute did wonders in the video above!
