Thanks Samantha! I will shoot some rehearsals from the contestants in a few days time, I'll be glad to receive some feedback from all members :) By the way, I assume I'd need to subtitle my footage right? Any guidelines yet? What about video format and compression? Is there a FAQ?

Hola amigos! Greetings from Western Mexico :) I will be attending and documenting an amateur Mariachi singing contest, following the story of one of the contestants from early in the morning, during the contest, and all the way to the winner announcement and reactions. I'm glad to share ideas and thoughts on this amazing undertaking!
