Hello Community,

we are a peace-making, poetry-writing non-profit organization. We are located in mid-city Los Angeles, and work with populations of at-risk youth through our workshops in high schools and detention centers.

We are currently working on our fourth album which is a combination of ancient indigenous music and song with poetry and hip hop.

On 10/10/10 we will be filming our community, youth, teaching artists, and any other poets who join us as we create a poetry circle out in the Santa Monica mountains.

We look forward to getting to know other artists and musicians, and seeing what you film and hearing your music!

Just about 2 years give or take. I'm totally obsessed. If you want to learn Irish music, find like minded folks in your town and just get together and play. It makes it easier when there's a group. Really great ideas guys! Spread the word to your musician friends. We'd love to be able to showcase as many different musical styles as possible. It's very exciting to be getting everything from the composing process to karaoke :)

I am going to be composing music from the moment I wake up on 10.10.10 and hope that some of it finds its way into various aspects of this grand experiment! I am looking forward to it.

Hi all. I love music and have so many musicians in my life, so I want my video to be about it. I am not quite sure on how to go about it though. I have friends that play in bands and write music, also karaoke for those not professional ones. hehe. Does anyone have any ideas they want to throw out there?

I'm going to follow my passion and learn a new Irish jig on my whistle. I'll try to capture the process of listening to and learning a tune by ear.

Meet The Boredoms! on 7/7/07 they performed a show in Brooklyn with 77 drummers in the ensemble. Anyone doing something similar?

(moving from the Art group) I've planned to imagine, compose, record & mix a track on 1010. i'll film that as i'm doing it (don't know how yet). Should have a finished track by the end of the day.
