Mr. K's Classroom

The Classroom is planning on branching out around the world to act as one small piece of this global collaboration for One Day on Earth.  Our core members are students at Kaohsiung American School (KAS) in southern Taiwan, where we study Humanities through real world explorations.  We welcome members from around the world, and from within Taiwan, whether or not they are active participants and followers of Mr. K's non-virtual Classroom at KAS or Mr. K's virtual Classroom on Facebook (see website link).

We're in the process of exploring the various stories to tell on 11.11.11, and will update this page as groups form around common interests, concepts, and themes.

Each participating student group from The Classroom will have their own 'Page' (see right hand column) describing their topics/concepts and their locations and filming experience.  Please feel free to check out the work of the groups that interest you, and share your thoughts as comments.

Mr. K is also a Local Producer for Taiwan and looking to connect with other One Day on Earth participants from Taiwan.  If you're planning on filming in Taiwan on 11.11.11 please let him know if he can help!

We encourage members to explore the possibilities of time-lapse for their One Day on Earth filming projects.  As you can see in this example below, the results can be quite incredible!
