- Richmond Vale Academy is a registrated Non Profit company No. 147 of 2002 under the companies act in St.Vincent.
Since the opening of the Academy in 2007, more than 140 International volunteers have been trained to work with Humana People to People in Africa and Ecuador.
The Academy runs several project besides training of volunteers; a community center in the North Leeward area of St. Vincent, a farm and a Nature and Hiking Center. The last two activities are income generating activities.
Richmond Vale Academy is a unique learning Institute in the Caribbean, we have so far granted 6 full scholarships to Caribbean's. In 2011 another 4 full scholarships will be granted. The International participants pay tuition.
At the Academy we arrange and participate several outreach activities like Open Saturdays, World Coastal clean up day, Rose Hall Community Center upgrade, arrangement of education and sports clubs in the area. We also take part in actions for orphans and handicapped throughout the year.
At our farm, we produce lime, vegetables, banana, sheep, pineapple, pitaya, pigs and passion fruits.
We start Africa Teams in March and September and Ecuador Teams in March, July and November.

Aqui em Richmond Vale Academy estamos acompanhando e participando do evento durante todo o dia.
Existe uma preocupação muito grande com o meio ambiente, a preservação da natureza , a cultura sem agrotóxicos, a biodiversidade, uma menor emissão de gás carbônico na atmosfera, e a auto-suficiência aqui em Richmond.
A plantação de bananas e o trabalho na fazenda emprega trabalhadores locais, o que ajuda a comunidade local.
