About Richmond Vale Academy:
RVA SVG trains international volunteers to work in Africa, Ecuador and St. Vincent. The volunteers work in the areas of education, poverty reduction, health care and environmental programs. Our partner in Africa and Ecuador is The International HUMANA PEOPLE TO PEOPLE Movement.
At the Academy we run a Nature and Hiking center to raise funds for the school programs and we run a community center for youth in the village of Fitz Huges, Chateaubelair and Rose Hall. The community center provide educational activities in art, craft, sports and after school programs.
We also run a farm to create local jobs and production and we are developing sustainable organic farming methods.
