Thanks for your message Brandon. So far so good - captured the Remembrance Day Service at the state war memorial this morning. Going to head out and capture some more general film this afternoon with a similar theme.

almost a year later...i am just seeing this. Thank you for your kind words! i will try to continue tomorrow. this year, i will strive to submit on time!
Hi Brandon, no actually i am intending to film the exact moment when one person is rescued from a life and death situation and therefore would be a new "birth" in his existence. Hope to succeed. All the best! Hermano Beaumont
Libya has jumped the fence ! But we are seeing some unrest along the civil front and it won't get better, as sirt was virtually beaten to the ground , and thats sad to see. Vigilance for pro ghidafi people is always on the alert. But you Brandon, you have to make a trip to Libya and see for yourself.
Its really great that you meet up with Swedish Television. I'm acctually meeting representatives from Swedish Television, Swedish Filminstitute and a bunch of colleagues at a docu-filmmakers conference later on today.
I wont rest until everybody knows about the fantastic work you guys has created.
I am very happy that I finally joined the ODOE-team a bit closer and really look forward to work more with you in the future.
FYI,
At the conference I'll meet up with an organisation called Doc Lounge, an small NGO here in the Nordic countries who arrange showings of documentary films all over Sweden, Norway and Finland every week. It would be super if the screening could take place at many places in Sweden at the same time and I do believe Doc Lounge will help us.
Is that possible?
If you want I can arrange a short meeting by phone between the UN-representative in Sweden and the head of Doc Lounge.
Take care in Portugal and eat some of there nice pastries!

Thank you, Brandon! I'm very excited to have gotten involved here and am trying to help spread the word. Thanks for all your good work! I'm sure this is truly a labor of love for you, and I think it's magnificent! Be well, Steph
Sup Brandom, well some ideas would come in handy; however, i'm looking for someone to share the experience with. It's not the same thrill then when you do it alone
Thank you for your comment and suggestion. I have about 180 university students and they have formed 3-4 person teams, each will be creating a video about their lives in Hangzhou, China on 11-11-11. I am very excited to help my students tell their stories. We will edit the 40 or so videos into: 6 groups (classes) and one final video. I have asked other teachers to participate, but have had no commitments yet.
Thank you all for the opportunity and best wishes to everyone involved.
I wish I could help you, but I don't think my post was ever replaced. This means that this year they might not have someone who is able to get involved with this specific activity. Also, to arrange the filming I did last yeat, it took my a veeeery looong time, as Angola has specific procedures when it comes to filming in public spaces. It really took a lot of work and I am not sure who has got the time to take this upon themselves this year.
Anyway, will drop an email to a former colleague and see what she says ;-)
