Arthritis Foundation Life Improvement Series Program

The Annual DuPage Women's Fair highlighted health care concerns at the Yorktown Center sponsored by Adventist Hindsale Hospital, Advocate Good Samaritan, and Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, hosted by Illinois Representatives Sandra Pihos and Patricia R. Bellock during September 2011.  Illinois Senator Kirk W. Dillard participated in this special health care event at the Yorktown Center in Lombard.

 

The Arthritis Foundation of the Heartland Region in Illinois presented Christine Cornell from Advocate Health Good Samaritan Hospital to introduce, discuss and practice the Arthritis Foundation Exercise Programs for Aqua, Tai Chi and Walking with Ease therapy, training, and exercises for people who suffer from arthritis as a chronic illness with cyclical pain and symptoms.


 

Christine Cornell is a professional trainer and therapist for the Arthritis Foundation.  Arthritis Class Exercises facilitate therapy, training, and relieving of chronic arthritis pain and symptoms, in order to improve your health, strengthen muscles, improve flexibility, and improve your mood, as well as your self-esteem.


 

The DuPage Women's Fair promotes Vision Screening, Pre-Diabetes Testing, Flu Shots, Blood Pressure Tests, Health Screenings, Weight-Loss, Driver's License Renewals, and many more health care services available for consumers and those who suffer from chronic symptoms and require health care information and treatment.

 

 

In addition, Food Demos by The Olive Tap and Lil Mad Café featured Chef Martin's Fall Harvest Medley with Acorn Squash prepared by Assistant Mario from the College of DuPage for health food fanatics.  Mary Nurse from Make It Happen Events organized the DuPage Women's Fair at the Yorktown Center in Lombard, Illinois, U.S.A.
