I read about your waste to wealth idea. It sounds very interesting. My students in grades 4-6 (ages 9-12) are learning about living sustainably. They will be looking at ways to divert trash from the landfill. I hope they will create very interesting products they will be able to sell.
My students documented their environments around their homes and in their community on 10/10/10. I hope you will take some time to look at our beautiful environment and comment.
I just discovered your message! Sorry! I was not ignoring you.

I have made many updates to the Food and Culture project since August. Please see the official Food and Culture web page, and check the drop down menu to view the Food and Culture Wix which has details on the sources of inspiration for the project as well as foundations for the curriculum. Also visit the Food and Culture Netvibes page and the wiki!
You may also wish to visit my web site, which is undergoing a makeover. And see the Comments Page with a comment from a new friend of mine in India.
I have asked some young friends of mine to join. I have school boys and girls in my team. We volunteer to do any supportive work anyone at One Day on Earth needs done..
