Thanks, not quite sure what route im going to take. i think im steering away from the long exposure but now debating between a fun handheld look or a strict backseat mount the whole trip..

@Michael Martinez i filmed a time lapse in my dad's car while he was driving, i made the shooting at night so i placed a tripod and all the photos i took were long exposure so i could capture the light trails and get the sense of "awesomely fast footage" :P. Hope i helped a bit. :)

Not great but good enough to start, i shooted with my old Fuji Finepix S5800. Not an awesome camera but it worked. Now i will make the video with my Nikon D60, so i want to try lots of things. Cheers!

Im filming a time lapse from San Francisco to Los Angeles down the California coastline! If anyone has any tips, let me know. Never shot a time lapse before and I'm a little nervous about getting a consistent look (battling the light and about a 9 hour drive)...
