The World's Story is Yours to Tell

I'm inspired by the One Day on Earth project to propose something special created by this group as a collaborative effort. The other part of my inspiration is this John Muir quote:

The grand show is eternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never dried all at once; a shower is forever falling; vapor is ever rising. Eternal sunrise, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls.

I believe that around the world there are enough of us making time lapses that we might be able to chase the sun rising around the earth for one day to capture that eternal dawn across time zones around the globe.

Eternal dusk would make an obvious sequel, or they could be combined into one finished project.

We might already have the footage necessary from One Day On Earth to show time lapses of one day's sunrise as it proceeds around the earth chronologically without too many gaps.
