The video I posted is how I shoot time lapses. Making time lapses is a guilty pleasure of mine, and I look forward to getting some of Chicago for 12/12/12!
I usually set automatic exposure and use LRTimelapse to correct exposure to the desired effect afterwards, instead of letting a chanco to over or underexpose some pictures
Any tips for timelapse of sunrise? Wondering about how to change the apperture and ISO during between shots. I have a Nikon D5100 (has timelapse build-in) and I also have a external intervalometer.
This was shot on 7/17, but is an example of what I do. This was shot without a timer (just hitting the shutter every 10 seconds) so I had to smooth it out.
What is your method for keeping exposure smooth?
