One Day In Athens, 11/11/11

View of Athens from Likavitos hill. Sunrise over mnt. Ymitos, god rays on the carpet out of concrete, the Acropols temples from far, then a quick trip to the Acropolis hill, marbles, tourists, lazy dogs, then back to Likavitos for the cloudy sunset and the lit up of the monuments. All timelapsed

It shows a part of One Day On Earth 11.11.11 official website's forum by the screen of a computer, as I am posting a few words on air one minute before the end of the day 11.11.11.

And here, again raw footage, a short clip of the local fishermen throwing out the first nets of the day.

Hello everyone, this is some raw footage of my early morning ferry arrival, unedited! Please excuse the sound, a ship engine is pretty noisy...

Hey! Sounds lovely! Very glad, someone went political after I dissuaded everyone else from it! ;-) So, have a good rest everyone! Still waiting for the moon to rise over the mountain... but if it doesn't come soon, I'll be asleep. Yes, exhausting but fulfilling day on earth! Glad to have met you all through this. :-)

Hey people! Just got back from our long day! Early noon we filmed at Acropolis to celebrate UNESCO's participation in the project. No tripods allowed there so the cameras were lying on the rocks with tourists looking at us :)
Around 4pm we got back on Lycabetus to film the sunset but there wasn't any. There were too many clouds and some serious wind. We managed though to film the Acropolis while lighting up for the night. All in all one exhausting but very fulfilling day on earth!

Hey! We just returned after an exchausting day of shooting!
Have some great stuff from the central fish market and a surprise!
We snipped into the presidential palace and have some great shots from the first moments of the new goverment and Loukas Papadimos, our new (not by vote hmmmmm) prime minister Loukas Papadimos.
Costis maybe we can exchange some materials for that.
Sibylle the thing we the fishes is that we ended up eating souvlaki once more...
Waiting for your fishes!
Guys we wish to all of you a great editing and a fine project!
