Dear IOM colleagues,
I hope that every one of you has successfully achieved his/her objectif for 11.11.11 project. I would like to know your plans according to the videos that you have recorded. Do you plan to submit the videos directly on the onedayonearth website or will you share the video with IOM headquarters in order to send a joint video clip ? Best regards, IOM Moldova.
Emigration is nothing new. People have been emigrating for centuries looking to opportunities that cannot find in their countries of origin. The human beings have always been emigrants. Even a country like the USA does have citizens who have found better opportunities in many foreign countries. We have all sort of emigrants, some have resources, successful careers, some move for political reasons, while others, who lack of a solid education are forced to move looking for work. Unfortunately, these are the one who get misused and abused by business guys. These are the one who get involved with false promises from unscrupulous agents. There are the one in real need, most of them honest and productive people. It is the responsibility to all governments to help and assist the poor emigrants to find their way in to a better life. After all, the USA was made of emigrants and those who held the wealth and power had forgotten that.
