- My mother is a Fado singer, she is 62 years old and belongs to a dying generation of Fado style. She was a professional singer for many years nowadays she sings only when she wants to. I would like to record her "dressing up, make-up and ultimate performance of the Fadista character in a Fado House, my family often goes to when she wants to sing", this is something I saw since my childhood.
Lisbon has submitted an application for Fado to be considered a World Heritage at UNESCO.
