Hi Ashley! I plan on filming in my area on Wednesday, but not sure just what my subject will be. I'm going to let the day unfold and see what opportunities come my way.

Hi Ashley. I'm hoping to perhaps go early and film the fishermen at Qait Bay bringing in their catch. Then film Alexandria 'waking up'....coffee shops preparing for the morning arrivals rather like our 'pubs' in Britain. Men do a lot of networking over their morning tea and sandwiches. Others opening their shops and some preparing their donkeys for the day's walk through the streets together with their loudspeakers shouting their wares. And so on.....

Will do Ashley. I am sure I will get some exciting footage!

Hey :) I have a question - can we use music in our films? I mean legal music, from CC for example? Or better if there will be only recorded sounds from scene?

Yes as a matter of fact I am leaving for Egypt this weekend and will be leading a group through the 12/12 - 12/21 time and plan on shooting HD footage all about. Let me know if you are interested in a special place and I will do my best to capture it!

I am planning to shoot on 12-12-12 starting with a sunrise somewhere on the east coast of Florida and shoot whatever I see as I make my way across the state ending with a sunset somewhere on the West Coast of Florida.

Hi Ashley,
I have two ideas, both much better with snow, so we'll see what the conditions are like on the 12th. One is to follow some dogwalkers, they have about 10 dogs of different breeds trotting through the snow. The second is to set a camera on a tripod and film a Rumania beggar in the gloss of central Stockholm for a few hours until it becomes dark. The contrast is huge, they kneel on the bare ground, and the warmly dressed Stockholmers politely walk around them. I'm thinking timelapse - I'll film in real time and speed it up in post. Any comments?

I am planning to do a "day in the life" series of photographs with three other photographers. we plan to cover as much of the island"s 238 sq miles as we can and produce a Blurb Book. I live on the Caribbean island of St Lucia.

Hi Ashley! We really had a great time that day, and I am definitely filming on 12/12. I am currently filming a falconry training video, so I'm hoping to get some great footage of the birds in flight. I think One Day on Earth is a brilliant concept and I'm just happy to be a part of it!

I have no plans yet but I am still thinking, I already got that day off from work and I am super excited to participate again this year :)

My plan for 12.12.12 is just go to my school and take shoots of the classes. At first maybe it doesn't sound very interesting, but this is a graphic design school. At Wednesday we have classes of painting&drawing, visual technics in Internet, graphic design and Japanese lesson. I think it will be very cool to show how the young artists working on their craft these days. Hope You'll like the idea, and maybe You have some tips or indication what you expecting?
