Hello to everyone in the world from Hungary, Budapest

For the 10.10.of 2010 we have a very special location in my country. It's the Highschool where Mr. János Neumann studied. Who was he? A very famous mathematician. He is the inventor of the computers, the machine you are watching right now. He invented the computer on the base of the binary numbers, which are 1 and 0. If you want to know more about him please check at wikipedia.

I will shoot on the 10.10.2010. in the Highschool where he went and record with mathematic students from this school the words one and zero. Please check my Profile for more details of my film.

The question the film will ask is, if the next genius is among the students.

The plus idea is to get children between 6-18 form all over the globe saying the word zero or one into the camera. Or is this genius one of them? Future will answer this question, but we in present have to protect our main value, the children. For me as a father of two sons this task is essential.

Can you help me? It would take you 10 seconds of that day to film one shot of one child.

The short can be uploaded after the 10.10.2010. I will cut the movie and publish it to everyone here.

Dear Ana

Thank you for your comment. Please check the date of my post. It was last year, when I participated in One day on earth. The date was 2010.10.10.at. My little project is closed and I already made a shortfilm of it last year.

 

This year I don't take part in the project.

Zoltan, do you know the saying on T shirts, there are only 10 types of people in the world, those who understand binary numbers, and those who don't?  I want to participate, however, I need permission from parents and also want the children (ages 6-12) to understand binary.  Binary is too much fun to just say without understanding.
