Cité Restaurant Turns Around The Ville de Québec in Canada
Where is My Portable Camera with My Father’s Photographs and My Travel Pictures Lost at Cité Restaurant in the Ville de Québec, Canada?
By Gardenia C. Hung, Summer 1982 Boursiére at l’Université Laval, Ville de Québec, Canada
In the summer of 1982, I visited the Cité Restaurant in the Ville de Québec where I was studying for a French Immersion at the University of Laval in Québec, Canada. Two Canadian women and I, we were part of the French Immersion program managed by Susan Faguy and other at Laval University in the Ville de Québec.
Cité Restaurant in the Ville de Québec downtown overlooks the entire historic city of Québec. The two Canadian women and I, we went out to dinner together one evening to celebrate the summer French Immersion at Laval University. The Cité Restaurant rotates on a mechanical axis which allows diners and visitors to view the Ville de Québec nightlights and the entire area surrounding the St. Lawrence River.
My portable camera has photos and memories of my Father, Mr. Roberto Hung, and my travel pictures during the French Immersion at Laval University in the Ville de Québec, Canada.
After dinner at Cité Restaurant, I forgot my portable camera which belonged to my father Mr. Roberto Hung. My father let me borrow his portable camera during my summer French Immersion at Laval University. The evening I went to Cité Restaurant with the two Canadian women, I lost my father’s portable camera with his photographs and my Canadian travel pictures during my stay at Laval University and visits to the Gaspé region and surrounding Laurentian mountains in Québec, Canada.
On Father’s Day, thirty-one (31) years later, I remember that I lost my Father’s portable camera with his photographs from 1982 and my summer travel pictures in the Ville de Québec, Canada while I stayed at Laval University studying for a French Immersion with Canadian college students during June, July, and August 1982.
