The 11 November Song

When the 11th November '11 came along I was housebound. I wondered what I could do to use that day in a special way. So I decided to do whatever I could do with that day... and the result is as follows.

I begin every day with God, so on this day too I spent time with the LORD of the Holy Bible, the God of Israel. I asked Him if He had something to share. So the first part I have to share is what He said. The section He showed me is from Isaiah 1:16 to 20 [Amplified Bible].

Isaiah 1:16 - 20 [Amplified Bible] reads like this:

"Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes! Cease to do evil,
Learn to do right! Seek justice, relieve the oppressed, and correct the oppressor. Defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.
Come now, and let us reason together, says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool.
If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;
But if you refuse and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken it."

After my morning with the Lord, I spent a while shooting random stuff with my handycam... and imagined what my turtles were saying to each other... :) Perhaps I might upload that section too...

Later as I was cooking, I got a song... and I quickly put it down on paper. As soon I could, I typed it own on the computer and recorded the tune on camera. Sorry that I don't play any instruments so the song is just in its raw form. The lyrics of the song are given below, the tune is recorded in the video. I'll be uploading the video of the song being worked on...

Later that evening we went to church to attend the Sabbath Service since it happened to be a Friday evening. I haven't been able to work on that footage yet. I've been neck deep in a lot of work, personal and otherwise, I hope I am able to do something with it soon. As for now, am looking forward to a trip to Kerala and the 'Discover Our Roots' seminar that is coming up on 13th to 15th of January 2012!

My apologies for the quality of the footage, I could only use what was available to me! I hope to be able to shoot with better equipment someday soon!
