Who are you and what is your profession?

My name is Thiago Silva, 31, born and raised in the Brazilian Amazon. Profession: Banking

Can you tell us a little about your background and upbringing?

Grew up in the amazon delta in Brazil. Moved to the US 12 years ago.  Speaks 4 different languages. Spent 3 months backpacking around the world, one complete circle. Current passion: Kitesurfing and making adventure videos

 

What inspired you to become a filmmaker?

The need to show my family back home a little bit of my life in a foreign land

 

Who or what do you most admire?

I admire the sunsets and the clear blue waters of south florida.

 

What did you film on 10.10.10?

Kitesurfing in the Colorado River delta in the Sea of Cortez, Mexico

 

What are you planning on filming for 11.11.11?

I have no idea yet. But it will be something worth watching.
