Who are you and what is your profession?
Hi! My name is Stijn Van Minnebruggen, I'm a 27 year old web developer at These Days http://www.thesedays.com Antwerp. Next to web development, I'm passionate about photography, graphic design, music and cinematography. When I'm not developing websites I'm out with my camera. What inspired you to become a filmmaker?
I wouldn't consider myself being a genuine filmmaker but I'd love to be one. When I was young I loved running around with my parents SLR looking through the viewfinder pretending that I was filming, so I've always been inspired by photography and filmmaking. Every time I see a video camera I want to check it out, play with it and start shooting.

Since I decided to buy a Canon 5D mkII (about a year ago) I'm hooked with filming with it. So I hope I can become a good filmmaker, but for now I'd consider myself a photographer that's playing around with video.

Who or what do you most admire?
I'd love to help make a real movie. There is no better school than to learn from the pros.

What did you film on 10.10.10?
I was in Essaouira (Morocco) on the day. I took the bus to Marrakesh and and just filmed my day. Marrakesh is an amazing city with loads of different opportunities to film. Monkeys on shoulders, enchanted snakes, taxi drivers, poor people, tourists, luxury hotels, ... Check it out!

Love your style , you have a great sense of putting pictures that blend into to the music you have so gracefully chosen ..Not just a small film ,more like a meditation and an inspiration .Why not make one of your favorite band ? ,you would certainly be great
