Hi there

Where do I start? Having just signed up to this site/project, I suppose I'll just tell you what i'm thinking.

I'm sat on my sofa, on an iPad, controlling my tv that can connect to the Internet and play war games with people all round the world without even saying hello. I'm remembering the good old days, times have moved so fast in my 45 and 1/2 years, thinking back to the late 70's we were amazed when my Dad brought home a video recorder with a wired remote that would stretch to the centre of the room, fast forward Ian he would say, so i,d get off the sofa and fast forward all the time thinking...why don't you do it yourself! 35 minutes later I'd be uploading a cassette tape to my new computer and be playing ping pong on a black and white tv....

As I look across my conservatory at my Internet TV and play station I think I'd love to join a war game, "pass me the remote control Son"....what must he think! We may now be the Internet age with the world at our finger tips, but have we moved on as human beings? Not really, now pass me that game controller Son I feel like going to war!
