One Day on Earth

The World's Story is Yours to Tell

10/10 is a work day so my moving around filming will be in the early morning and around sundown. My project is a time-lapse film / short video blend set to music. I will post a short bit of test footage, as I am new to this (but enthusiatic).

I have been getting better at using Windows Movie Maker and will likely upgrade software if need be. If there is anyone in Bahrain who is a skilled editor, I will have footage and am finding (what I consider to be) appropriate music. I would love to collaborate on editing, or in the alternative sit down and be taught.

It has been exciting for me on this project. I am new to film making and needed to acquire equipment to make it happen. I will be shooting with a Nikon D5000 with one or the other of the lenses I have (now with polarizer for teh sunrise / sunset footage). I highly recommend the Joby Gorillapod and the Manfrotto tripod is a thing of beauty. I guess if I need to buy a Mac (my PC desktop and laptop are just not liking the project) and software to finish this, I would to see it to completion.

I ended up upgrading to a Mac, IMovie and Quicktime Pro to make my movie. I hope it ends up getting in the project footage, but uploading has been a challenge!
