A Caregiver's Role In The Heart Health of Loved Ones for Millions Hearts Caregiver

In this Million Hearts Caregiver Challenge, R.S. Hung shares his loyal and friendly caregiver's story on how he advises, coaches, and supports his friend Tim, his Aunt Xiomara, his Cousin Ileana from Cuba, and other loved ones on how to prevent and control high blood pressure for a healthy heart. R.S. Hung also gives healthy tips on having a balanced nutrition, taking supplemental vitamins such as Vitamin D and minerals like Calcium, Magnesium, and Zinc which prevent and control high blood pressure for loved ones, in addition to doing regular daily exercise, walking, strolling, together with resting periods and regular sleeping hours which provide good advice from a healthy caregiver. All the loved ones are taking blood pressure medications to control hypertension. R.S. Hung is personally helping his friend Tim to control hypertension and high blood pressure by taking regular blood pressure readings at the Dominick's Pharmacy Center. In this caregiver's story, his friends and loved ones also take regular readings for Bone Mineral Density (BMD) and Body Mass Index (BMI) testing offered by Dominick's Pharmacy. Also, there is the Blood Pressure Screening offered by the pharmacist. These recommendations do help to lower high blood pressure and maintain a healthy heart.
