Ms. Afua Bubaa Ansre(UN Women Ghana Corodinator) interviewed the ranking member on women and children committee of Parliament; Honourable Gifty Ohene Konadu, who is also a Member of Parliament .The interview focused on women participation in politics, experiences and challenges and training support.Hon.Gifty posited that, there is urgent need for affirmative action to address the low representation of women in the Ghanaian parliament.She aslo acknowledged the training support provided by UN Women Ghana and Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) .She also shared her experiences as woman MP and challenges in relations to empowerment of women to reach similar heights in Ghana.She appeals to women leaders to document their experiences
