The 7D and 5D are probably the same in the video. But the picture is more than the 5D. For video you saw, I work with the little 50mm 1.8 lens but it is not stabilized thus harder to control.

I recommend as the 16-35mm lens, the 70-200mm and the 10-20mm for wide angle shot.

Thanks, I use a Nikon D300s, mostly for photography but also for HD 720p videos.
I'm glad you like it as I receive my camera 2 weeks ago only and used the slider for the first time for this footage.
