Excellent :-) I have appreciated watching the previous trailers looking for basic instructions but your explanation has painted a much clearer picture by far. Thanks again!!
Hello Maria I am the Regional Producer for the Pacific. Yes, you are correct all of the footage needs to be recorded on 12.12.12 but donʻt worry it doensʻt need to be uploaded on the same day. We will send out instructions shortly after the day of the event. If you would like to shoot some "warm up footage" before the event that is fine but technically whatever you submit should be shot on the 12th. There is no time requirement for how much or how little you can record for the project. We do recommend that you submit at least 3 - 5 minutes. And there is some limitation on how much of your footage will go in our online "global archive" which is determined by the size of your Vimeo account. But for the film we collect all of the footage and our editor reviews it. That end part might be a little confusing though which is why we generally wait until after the event to explain the process of getting the footage to us. Thanks! Let me know if you have any other questions and I look forward to seeing your footage!
