Donald Warne, MD, MPH, Oglala Lakota, who is an advocate for American Indians health rights. American Indians are dying of unnecessary causes and living much shorter lives than other US citizens.

The gave up the land and resources that made the United States a great nation - they did not lose it in wars. They were promised healthcare by the government, but the government is not living up to its' promise.

This is immoral and needs to cease. In spite of the failed trust responsibility the US government has with Indian people, there are many remarkable people who are promoting initiatives an programs to heal their communities.
