I am the last generation of people that will use fossil fuels directly for transportation. Within the next 50 years fuel from crude oil will continually increase in price, this will have a dramatic effect on several aspects of live. However, the great shift will come as food costs soar and innovation catches up. These days/years will be interesting for all of us and i believe a huge change to the understanding of just what it is to be human. Looking back 100 years from now, i want people to see that these were not scary times, no, just the opposite. We will be recreating our society and not live as thou we are at an end (as i sometimes feel) rather a beginning.
Here in the Bay Area of California is where that change and innovation will take place.
I plan to show my amazing world of cars, motorcycles, trains, and planes (all from a way of life of my parents generation and their parents before them). Then on the other hand what i am doing with alternative fuels and vehicles as an engineer anticipating the future. All in a very fast pace world!
