The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Namibia wish to share with the world the first ever national training of trainers in Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM), as part of the broader disaster risk management in Namibia.
The training participants represent the Government of the Republic of Namibia as well as the Namibian Red Cross Society and all work with displaced populations and disaster risk management – at national, regional or local level. The training aims to enhance national CCCM capacity – building on existing structures of disaster risk management and inspired by achievements and good practice in Namibia to date.
One Day on Earth coincides with the last day of training and graduation of 36 unique personalities, committed professionals and dedicated CCCM practitioners, and excellent trainers to be. IOM Namibia invites you to live this experience with us all as we lay the foundation for strategic disaster risk management and enhanced community resilience.
The clip will reflect a highly energized and fun learning process, take part of the building of a CCCM tool box, discuss sustainable ways forward, and culminate with a certification ceremony and following celebrations.
