Hello Amanda! Nice e-meeting you!
I do enjoy being an iEARN member. I am currently engaged in the Adobe Youth Voices Program. I am taking a team of 15 iEARN - Adobe Youth Voices project. How has money factor hampered you from joining up?
Adobe youth voices is just one of the many program/projects handled by iEARN. Adobe Youth Voices seeks to empower young people with knowledge, skills (including technological skills) and values of the 21st Century so to help them articulate issues from their own point of view. My team of learners have a main project to complete. it involves creating a purposeful media focusing on concerns of young HIV positive - their challenges and how the deal with them. It also seeks to show that their hope for a better life for young people who are HIV positive. One of the learners took it upon her self to create her own media on child abuse: A Fact File of Child Abuse.
The whole process is really challenging yet exciting. We all the love it. It looks now we just might have a chance to show-case what we have done to the President of Uganda! Will see how it goes...
Bye for now
