Butterfly tent, Bordered Patch at Riverside Nature Center, Kerrville, TX

Every year on Earth Day, Riverside Nature Center holds a free, fun, family festival. Texas Master Naturalist volunteers from the Hill Country Master Naturalist chapter set up a butterfly pavilion. This is a screen shelter stocked with butterflies where children can have up-close and personal experiences with native butterflies while gaining educational insights.
