Dad's Garden is a short film shot over a spontaneous couple of hours in the garden with my dad, Robert in Surrey, England. The aim was to edit a short which put across Robert's character and personality into something that was relaxed and inviting to watch. The edit was kept fairly simple as this is to be a short film that would not date in terms of it's style and bring with it a nostalgic feel. The colour grade in this short has been given a vintage/aged look which helps blend together with the accompanying piano track played beautifully by James West. The grade also reflects Robert's long standing passion for gardening.

These were my thoughts, either way, I really hope you enjoy watching this and giving my dad some love.
