- I am currently involved in the Occupy St. Petersburg movement. It is a movement in response to the Occupy Wall Street. We are a grass roots movement that seeks to voice the %99 percent of the population who don't have money to have their interests heard to our government. The %1 of the population is controlling the wealth and political power in our country.

I’m also really excited to see some on the ground footage from different occupy events on 11.11.11. I’m here in NYC and I’ll be in Zuccotti park the day of.
There are actually a handful of other One Day on Earth members who are interested in documenting occupations and protests in solidarity with OWS. It would be great if you’d like to create an occupy together type group on the site for everyone to network and communicate. It’s very simple; you just go to the Collaborate tab then to Suggest A Group and I’ll get our organizers to take it live.
As far as you know, is your GA or media working group in communication with organizers in other places? I’d love to build the OWS-One day on earth network!
