2011 ONE DAY ON EARTH
Contributed vocals to the global music collaboration piece for One Day On Earth. The vocal piece is called "Living on Top of the World", which reflects one's Spirit as it asks why that person isn't using his/her words and hands to help heal a hurting world, and why they aren't doing more to uplift one another.

My contribution is a video, including photos, about the amazing hope found in the eyes of children. This short film explores and celebrates the awesome hope found in the eyes of children. No matter where we come from or what background or heritage we have, we all have this in common: We marvel and are inspired by the hope and unconditional love we find in children. Through this video, I support the healthy growth of children and also support inspirational youth education.

This film features my 4 year old cousin Ashlyn Grace Slade. This piece includes scenes from a very warm Sunday afternoon 10-10-10, when Ashlyn visited my mother and I (she visits every other week with her mom and "Gammy"-or grandmother). When I spend time with her she always reminds me through her amazing personality and sense of humor that children have this wonderful hope for all things good, and we as a society should protect that hope through promoting a peaceful world for our children.
