Sharon, my Gr. 7 students were SO excited -- and disappointed -- when we looked at my profile page today and saw your message. We've been busy learning, filming, and now beginning to edit, so we couldn't have offered any footage for Nov.11th even if we'd seen your message earlier. But it really gave my students an insight into how really exciting connections can be made through these kinds of projects. We're trying to change the educational paradigm here, from old 20th Century style schooling to 21st Century skills and learning activities, and I think they are beginning to see the exciting possibilities. If there's anything they can do later, it would be very meaningful to us. Could they send their finished videos to you just to have you look at them and give them some comments on them? We likely won't have them completed for a week or two - we're limited by computer lab times available.
