I'm hoping to film something on 12.12.12. but not yet sure what. A new hospital is due to open that day, but may be delayed. A friend is having her 50th birthday.

Haven't decided yet what to film on 12.12.12. Might be just daily life in Byron Bay, perhaps a storm will come through, or I'll film some kiddies swimming in the lake.....I want to be inspired on the day by what the day feels like and presents to me.

Hi Sean, I am hoping to film something, but not sure what yet. See what's happening closer to the day I guess. With 11.11 being Remembrance Day last year, it made it an important day to capture, as well as a few trains passing too.

hi and thank you for that but unfortunately I no longer have the raw footage so I don't believe they will use it in its edited form. Where did you access it? I don't see it below on the wall page.

I am hoping to participate again this year, though I am not sure which country I will be in on that day - will I have to nominate a fixed location in advance to be able to contribute?

Thanks Sean, I'll be at work today so possibly something about working with a team in multiple locations around the world, or an early morning surf before work.

Hopefully I'll be able to film something - but I might be in hospital with a new baby! Unfortunately the hospital only allows still photos, no videos.

Thanks for the nice words, Sean. As for 12.12.12 I actually haven't given it any serious thought just yet. I'd like to join if I can but will need to put my thinking cap on in the next few days, and hope for some dose of inspiration and creativity to come my way.

Hello Sean. Thanks ... Yes, I have been thinking on 12-12-12. At the moment we have an estimated 600,000 wild Budgies (Budgerigars - Melopsitticus undulatus) in huge flocks flying the bush close to town. Budgies are known the world over as popular and common caged birds, but the phenomenon of encountering them wild in the bush in such huge flocks is amazingly colourful and spectacular. They move in noisy tumbling clouds. I have photographed them with still camera and would like to have a go at making a movie of them (with them providing their own audio). The trouble is there is no guarantee they will still be about by 12-12-12. If the Budgies are gone by then, I'll have to think on something else that is unique to Central Australia (as Rainbow Valley is) ... perhaps the incredible Chamber's Pillar (but I'd have to camp overnight for that one). I'd really like to join the 12-12-12 shoot one way or another, shooting on 11-11-11 was fabulously rewarding, and I am chuffed to have represented my small glimse of Central Australia to such a Global happening. Yes I am hoping to do a bit better this year and will be teaming up with one of my Sea Shepherd colleagues.... ideas are still floating around at the moment, but I have also made sure a couple of the crew on the Bob Barker will aim to get you some footage from the anti-whaling campaign this year :-)

I recently looked at the video myself again, and it's of special note with my mother in law who says "welcome to the camp" She passed away suddenly earlier this year.....the camp was sold and things have changed dramatically, so we are fortunate to have this footage, originally done for the one day or earth project. Like can change very quickly.

We haven't planned on shooting anything. It depends on how busy we are. It would probably be what is happening in our lives on that day. I will certainly consider it, and if I go ahead, I will upload the video.

Yes.. I'm certain that there will be something in Yellowknife that I can shoot on 12/12/12

Yes, Sean. I'll be filming again. I've moved since 11.11.11 and so I'll be looking to film the sunrise and sunset from my new location. I'm also a high school teacher and I'm getting some classes to work on something to add as well.

Hi Sean, thank you for your kind words, the part with the child spinning and then getting lost in the crowd is also my favourite. This year I will be travelling from Bogotá to Washington DC that day, hopefully I will be able to capture something about both places.

Thanks for the e-mail!! I'll be recording a one--man version of Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol" as I perform for a live audience. This is the same show he did when he was alive, playing all the characters.
