I believe that we need to start embracing the respect that the Native Americans and others in the far east, including Japan and others, shows towards the earth in respect to nature and even our planets. We are not separate from this earth or it's forces and influences of nature, and until we become informed and conscious of the ecosystem and it's impact on our lives, and start learning to live as part of it, then we still have a lot of work to do.
