Hello all! Here at One Day on Earth, we're gearing up for 11/11/11 and we want you to join! Anyone thinking of something new for November?

Recently I and my team produced a documentary film about the cay in Seribu Islands, Indonesia that has been built by coral thousand years ago. The film was made base on the executive producer's research about the origin of coral cay in that area.

This is the synopsis about the complete film :

"The innocent and less-informed inhabitants are surrounded by the world wonder of underwater attractions. The prevailing threats are beyond their control. It is a recent portrait of normal days in Pramuka cay, the capital of Seribu islands, south-west of Java sea, Indonesia. Scientific findings has long confirmed that besides local destruction, mainland pollution is threatening this north-west of Jakarta complexes of patch reef. The surely progressing global threat in forms of sea level rise is taken place at approximate annual rate of 2m to 4mm. Will they survive?"

If you have a little time please take a look the 2.54 min film trailer in http://vimeo.com/14213040 . And I am looking forward for your critics about it.

Thanks

Thanks to everyone who submitted video's and messages. Your individual perspectives were shared throughout our meetings. Not only did you help us establish an important relationship with the United Nations but you helped us test our ability to share. We have many future meetings now with the UN and hope to collaborate with them in areas of education, outreach, and even production. To those who couldn't make the deadline or had technical difficulties we will be sure to allow more time and make it easier for next time.
Gratitude and Thanks

The meeting went well. We actually have a follow-up meeting tomorrow with one of the several departments at the UN interested in our program. It was amazing to sit in the presentation room with so many brilliant people form an international community :)

Rahul, I'll check in with our team and try to get the edit posted soon. Thank you everyone for the support!
