Hi Everyone, can't wait to see all the scenes of nature captured around the world on Sunday! Please consider supporting our partner WWF with your footage. Please check out their call to action: wwf.panda.org/onedayonearth

If you're stumped with what to film on 10.10.10. or looking for some inspiration, take a look at some of the great organizations that have signed up to be a part of One Day on Earth. Check out our Environmental Sustainability Causes and Wildlife and Animal Rights Causes.

Kathe Maskus and I will be shooting along the Lake Superior coast, the cliffs and beaches, a smaller inland lake, part of the North Country trail. Hopefully some shots of a bald eagle. If time permits a waterfall.

I will be filming at the beach, maybe at a park....I don't know if I will make it out of the city though, so that might be as close as I get to nature....

There are some crazy city squirrels that beg for food, might bump into one...

@ Jessica.... woohoo kangaroos!!!

I will be filming in Bear Mountain State Park and the surrounding area. We live in Monsey, NY, which is about a 40 minute drive from the park and about an hour from Manhattan... but I'd assume they'd be plenty people in NYC who've joined "One Day On Earth". We'll be using 2 Panasonic AG-HMC150s as I will be filming together with my Dad! Should be fun! I'll also take along our Canon 50D for some timelapse footage.

Okay, you've convinced me.
Fingers crossed the kangaroos will behave themselves, so I can actually catch them on film.

Kangaroos running would be awesome! (I guess because I'm in California as well....)

I've been to California.I got excited when I saw squirrels for the first time and the Americans thought I was a nutter :P

It won't be very spectacular footage because the kangaroos are likely to run (jump) away. There's so many around my house though, seems a shame not to try.

I'm thinking wild kangaroos, is that too boring?
