About Swaziland Homeopathy Project:

We provide homeopathic treatment for children (some of them are HIV and TB positive) at a National Care Point here, for orphans and vulnerable children, most of these children only get breakfast and lunch which is provided by the care point charity. Recently the food for this charity ran out and it is still painfully short. They are feeding 80 children for the equivalent of about $ 15 US a day! The quality of this food is therefore not fantastic. We would like to be able to give these children (especially those that are unwell) some kind of good nutritional support in the form of a supplement containing vitamins, minerals trace elements etc.all year round to boost their overall health. At present we do not have the resources to provide this. Please consider helping!

The main objectives of Swaziland Homeopathy Project are to:

-work in conjunction with community based organisations that promote social and economic empowerment in rural communities;

-offer holistic care and emotional support to people suffering from illness, trauma, grief and stigma especially that which is associated with HIV/AIDS;

-maintain the number of existing homeopathic clinics at 4—5 per week and increase the number of rural community mobile outreach clinic visits;

-increase the number of patients attended at each outreach clinic by making treatment available to the families of the women working for the handicraft projects and other people in their communities;

-expand and make homeopathy available to other HIV/AIDS community support groups.

-train Swazi homeopaths to sustain the project;

-provide data for statistical analysis to monitor and evaluate the project, and

-acquire funding to support the activities of the project.
