For 11.11.11 ODOE I'll be filming an interactive art project Self by Self Art at a few choice locations in LA. Come join in the fun at one of four locations: 9.30AM at the base of the walk to the Hollywood Sign, then on Hollywood Blvd outside Mann's Chinese Theatre at 11.30AM, then on the Venice Beach promenade by the Skate Park around 2.30PM and then finally hoping to make it to the Occupy LA site downtown. Look around for a bunch of people holding squares of brightly colored cardboard and markers - and that will be us!

I teach film at a university in Washington D.C. I'm making one of my advanced cinematography classes shoot documentary footage on 11.11.11, and encouraging the rest of the school to take part as well.
Personally, I built 3 different camera mounts to put on my motorcycle, and while my students are documenting Washington D.C.; protests, veteran's day, and urban life, I'll be documenting something else; the open road, small town businesses, and a little bit of a more suburban, quieter and calmer America.
