Hi fellow One Day On Earth. The big day is almost here. I am still not totally sure what I am going to shoot. I live north of Atlanta and the leaves are changing in the Blue Ridge Mountains but then again, football is in full swing. I am mainly a freelance photojournalist and will more than likely, pick something the morning of the shoot. Good luck to everyone and I can't wait to see what happens on this day across the world.

Street Poets Inc is a peace-making, poetry-writing non-profit organization dedicted to the creative process as a means of transformational change. We work with at-risk youth populations, and are located in mid-city Los Angeles. Poetry is at the heart of what we do, and we have put out 3 spoken word and hip hop albums of the voices of our youth. We are currently working on our fourth album, where we will combine ancient indigenous music with hip hop and poetry.
On 10/10/10 we will film our one of our many journeys from the city into nature where we will have a meditation/writing session, and where we will be able to share more of our poetry and work with you.

Hey Marjorie, Tim, and One Day on Earth Buddies,
I'm Sandra, I live in CT, and on 10/10/10 I'll be at a fried's wedding inFlorida. my video is in support of Freedom, Truth, Justice, and as the evolutionary spirituality movement would say 'the good, the beautiful,and the true'. It is a spoken word video that ends in a rallying cry/chant in support of Bradley manning, the 22 year old soldier facing 52 years in prison for allegedly leaking the US helicopter video that shows the helicopter randomly shot to death over a dozen Iraqis, including 2 Reuters jouranlists.
Tim, what a beautiful thing you are doing. I feel your passion, commitment, and creativity. I hope to see your video!
Marjorie, i'll be in Melbourne, Fla on 10/10/10, is there any Boomer celebration anywhere near there? I'll google to see if I can find the other cities. thank you for sharing it here.

Hey everyone. We look forward to being part of this historic occasion. We are a small nonprofit organization started by two elementary students who are destine to make a difference in our world. Check out their website at www.onemoregeneration.org and also their video, it is awesome.
We will be hosting a "Water Event" at the fernbank Museum in Atlanta GA on 10-10-10 where we will be educating the visitors on the importance of water to the endangered species on the planet and we are also collaborating with the folks from Ryan's Well who has helped build over 650 wells for villages all over the world. The event is sure to be huge.
Later on the same day we are participating in an event on the State Capital grounds where we will have a Global Work Party to Stop Climate Change which is part of the national event being sponsored by 350.org. We plan to shoot video of everything the founders of OMG are doing on the day and we hope to get some great meaningful footage.
