Hi all. I'll be in Australia for 11.11.11. (I was in the States for 10.10.10.) I am based in North Ryde, and I am looking for something interesting to shoot for the next event. Any ideas?

Hello all! Here at One Day on Earth, we're gearing up for 11/11/11 and we want you to join! Anyone planning something interesting from Australia for November?

Hi there.

I have finally uploaded my footage from 10.10.10.

I shot exclusively still images with a Nikon D300 - 12 sequences from 6 locations in the Blue Mountains World Heritage region.

The weather was extremely cold and windy so I ended up shooting shorter sequences over 10-12 mins each. The resulting 3000+ still images were processed in Lightroom and imported as image sequences in Quicktime. Final edit in iMovie.

This is my first ever experiment with Time Lapse. I would love to get some feedback. I am aware of mistakes in timing and interval. Will shoot more frames in future!

Glad to be a part of one day on earth. Good luck to you all!

G'day Aussies! Hope you were all able to capture some footage from your LOVELY country. If you haven't already, please remember to upload your videos to www.onedayonearth.org. Deadline extended to November 17th.

Does anyone know what "SLX Footage" means? I've searched Google, and nothing!!

Hi James, I've been talking to Daniel Lichtblau on Support, and it works now! I had to move the 'videos' pane to the top of my page, but unless I'm seriously mistaken, that pane didn't exist earlier.

Hi James, thanks! So you're saying the 500MB limit is week-based, as well as file-based? Nevertheless that does not explain why my first file is not becoming visible (on this site, I mean; whereas on Vimeo I can see it fine).

I actually had thought about whether to upload just a short clip and then replace it with a really long one on Vimeo.com, because I am a pro member there. Do you think it would confuse the One Day on Earth system because it only ever saw the short clip version?

hey christian i had a error message and could not upload i found out first that there's a 500mb per week limit but was able to use a file swap via vimeo they are very helpful at 10-10-10 and am sure they want your footage

I'm uploading a few 500MB files — each one takes about 1.5 hours on ADSL2 — but after each upload completes, I get an error "No ningid found" and the video doesn't end up on my page here. But it does appear on my Vimeo account. Should I be worried? I've submitted an issue to this website.
