Cause - Human Rights & Civil Liberties. Nonprofit dedicated to caring for the abandoned and orphaned children of the DRC and to helping this devastated country become self-sustaining.
Founded in 1999, we operate numerous development projects in the DR Congo all focused on self-sustainability. The most urgent cause we have are three orphanages that we operate in Kinshasa, totaling almost 400 children. All of our programs use education to bring permanent relief to a country that has been plagued by militant violence, disease, and widespread poverty.
Children in our orphanages receive an education, healthcare, social integration and counseling, adoration, and an opportunity to make it in what otherwise would be a bleak existence. We constantly work to send educational supplies, money to improve the facilities, and volunteers to help with the social development of the children.
Each day, countless people around the world are subjected to injustice and adversity unlike anything some of us can fathom. The Jatukik Providence Foundation advocates what we strongly feel to be a noble cause, of 400 Congolese orphans in our direct care. Like so many others in the world, these children have never been given an opportunity to live prosperous happy lives.
Nearly of the Congo's 65 million people are under the age of 15 and despite having an abundance of natural resources, the country has been plagued by violence, disease, and poverty. JPF is dedicated to caring and advocating for the abandoned and orphaned children of the Congo.
We ask you to take a stand and sponsor a child, hold a discussion about what is going on, make a donation, volunteer at one our orphanages, hold a fundraiser, but at the very least become educated and realize that these are children who need our help. Please open your hearts and help the Jatukik Providence Foundation help the youth of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
